Kristianna Cucinella


Kristianna Cucinella joined the Law Office of Silverman, Mack & Associates as an associate attorney in 2015. She brought to the firm a varied background, including non-profit work, litigation, and defense. Mrs. Cucinella is a graduate of the University of Florida, and a "Triple Gator," having obtained a Bachelor of Science, and joint Master of Science and Juris Doctorate degrees, all with honors. During law school, she participated in the Conservation Clinic and an externship with the Alachua County Environmental Protection Department, and obtained a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law.   

During and following graduation from law school, Mrs. Cucinella worked as land conservation director of a local non-profit organization in Gainesville. In this position, she educated landowners throughout North Central Florida about private land conservation options. Specifically, she presented information in regard to the importance of estate planning, and the legal implications of private land conservation, including the state and federal tax benefits. She also prepared the legal conservation easement documents for landowners. She obtained additional experience in the areas of family law, real property law, including landlord-tenant disputes, and contract law, while clerking at a local civil litigation firm.  

Mrs. Cucinella also worked as an associate attorney for two years at a large statewide insurance defense firm, practicing in the area of workers' compensation insurance defense. During her tenure with the firm, she vigorously defended employer and insurance carrier clients ranging from small businesses to multinational corporations. This included mediating claims, and going to trial when necessary to obtain favorable settlements for her clients.
